Record Creation

When a record ID is not included then Guardian attempts to create a new record. If Guardian identifies that a record already exists, the data row will result in an error and fail. If data is not provided for all required fields then the row will result in an error and fail. When no data is provided for a defined field then the field will be updated with a null or empty (i.e. for text fields) value.
